“The most powerful moment on the trip was really that final circle we did up on the mountain before we hiked down.

People in the circle really share a lot of emotion, a lot of events in their life, it capped the bond that the group was building through the week.

My favorite part was hiking up the mountain and knowing we were going to spend couple nights up there, really taking in that setting and trying to really feel the mountain under us, and have those views. Not just for a moment where you hike up and hike down, but for 36 plus hours with the whole group. That was really special.

It’s surprising how easily you can make friends in a playful beautiful nature setting. People that you’ve never met before can quickly become your friends and allow you to be playful and feel like a kid again.

It certainly allowed me to be myself, which is a bit silly goofy, and playful. The group brought that out in me. I would describe it as a really small connected group of people having fun in nature and being lead by a super enthusiastic and positive leader in Kevin.

I didn’t come last year, and then I made it I priority this year. The biggest thing is, you’ll be called hewn you’re ready. Don’t shy away from that when you feel called”

Grateful for this man! See ya in the wild 🙏🏽

Let’s go on an adventure?

I’ve done so many different healing things in my life and nature, wild nature, like being miles away from civilization, remains the most deeply therapeutic and healing.

I’ll be going to Alaska on a @passage.exp

if you’d like to be considered as a fellow adventure type “PASSAGE” in the comments and I’ll send you the details

We must allow ourselves to be moved by the beauty of wild nature.

There is no medicine more potent for these times than returning to the intact ecosystems we have left.

Alaska will teach you things no classroom, no coach, no book ever could.

Alaska so indifferent and so alive that something in you remembers what it actually means to be a living creature on this earth.

We are not separate from wild nature. We are wild nature.

We just forgot.

That is what Alaska gives back.

We go every summer.
Every year we go deeper.
Every year there is more to remember.

We are so beautifully designed to live in close contact with this planet and each other.

Life feels weird, and you get spun out, because you haven’t slept under the night sky in way too long.

Our nervous system is designed to co-regulate with in tact and organic environments. Not constant simulation, 4 walls, screens, highways, stoplights, and a never ending feed of how the world is falling apart.

Even if you don’t come on one of my trips, just spend more time outside.

Your body is the temple of divinity, and it’s begging you to be in a thriving environment, not to take another prescription.

Alaska for the win always.

My Passage experience was profound.

I feel change in my body, and in my soul.

Realizing how important the connection to nature really is for me.

I was giving out so much energy, so much of me, and not taking care of myself. Not refilling my tank.. just give give give all the time.

Realizing to slow down, process things. I realized how much pent up energy of my past chapter, how much I was holding that in.

I got to realize how far I’ve come, how much I’ve accomplished.

That my connection to earth is so important for grounding and healing.

The community was really strong, realizing in my normal life a lot of people in my life don’t really understand what I’m going through.

I feel really optimistic and Hopeful.

There is a version of your life where you did this.

We spent two nights on top of a mountain in Alaska.

Tents, fresh alpine air, unbelievable sunsets, and the kind of night sky that only exists this far from everything.

Something shifts when you put yourself somewhere genuinely hard and genuinely beautiful at the same time.

You remember what you are made of.

Passage Alaska. Seven days. Small group. One of the last truly wild places on earth. You will still be thinking about this trip years from now.

Two departures this summer. Eight people maximum.

In the Boundary Waters we catch fish, clean them, cook them over wood we gathered. Eat them the same night.

And something about that feels more real than most of my actual life.

Arne Naess spent 12 years alone in a mountain hut in Norway writing about why modern humans feel so hollow. His answer was simple. We convinced ourselves we were separate from nature. That it was something to visit, not something we are.

I think he was right. I think most of us know he was right.

The question is what you do with that.

There’s a reason people keep coming back to the Boundary Waters.

You paddle in, leave everything behind, and somewhere out there it clicks…

Catching your own food, cooking it over a fire, eating it under a sky full of stars.

Day 3 and we’re frying fresh northern pike lakeside. This is what life is supposed to feel like.

If you’ve ever wanted to do a trip like this, Send us a DM.
