It was pfw, but more importantly : the food guides are soooo back (yes, i know. It’s been a while, i was sick for three weeks, like half of France, and apparently getting back into a routine is my biggest challenge of the rentrée).

Anyway, here’s what i’ve been eating lately : old favourites, new obsessions, iced coffees while we still legally can, and a few trendy new addresses added to my never-ending to-do list. As usual, Paris, you’re keeping me busy.

@faunaparis still, always and forever, my favourite breakfast in Paris. Scandinavian vibes, soft-boiled eggs, slices of cheese, very good bread, an iced coffee on the terrace and the loveliest team. Minimalist decor, exactly how i like it. Not my first time talking about it, but apparently i’m also not done photographing it. +1 for the feed.

@chez_nous_paris i went once. Ate, drank, loved it. Went back two weeks later. That should tell you enough. The perfect meeting point when your friends live in the 15th and you live absolutely nowhere near them. Sunset views over Pont Neuf, Place Dauphine doing its thing, lovely staff, very good food, fair prices and a great wine list. Date ? Girls’ night ? 30th birthday ? This is your sign. Don’t walk there. Run.

@arcane17paris a little marais gem i loved last winter for an intimate dinner with friends, and equally love for a sunday lunch at the bar. Think fire-cooked fish, seafood-ish plates and very well thought-out sides, all in a seriously fashion-forward setting. Rue Charlot, right in the middle of the action. Fashion ++, food ++, no notes.

@f.o.l.d.e.r.o.l even more of a favourite since they opened their new spot near my place this summer. Basically my hq at this point. i have only one complaint : they are getting a little ambitious with the price of those ice cream scoops, especially if you sit in. But i’m choosing peace. Still love them. Still recommend them. Still going back.

@cafe_du_coin my new @lecornichon.paris(iykyk). Basically the answer to the monday-tuesday-wednesday-thursday and sunday-night blues. Pizzettes for €7–8. i genuinely don’t know what more convincing you need. Delicious, easy, addictive. One warning : they don’t take dinner reservations,

Apparently, september 1st has arrived, and with it comes the annual parisian ritual known as la rentrée. I’m not emotionally prepared, spiritually aligned or remotely interested, but apparently, the calendar has spoken. So, back to routines, new addresses, old favourites, iced lattes, endless terraces and spending an irresponsible amount of money on food (let’s enjoy it while we can because i have a feeling we’re going to blink and winter will already be here. did we even get an autumn last year ?)

Anyway, if i have to make my way back to Paris, i might as well eat my way through it.

@f.o.l.d.e.r.o.l to prolong summer just a little longer, nothing beats a scoop of ice cream paired with a glass of natural wine. They’ve now opened a second location in Paris 11 (and, conveniently, one slightly closer to home). Considering i was already spending most of my sundays at Folderol, you can imagine my chances of being spotted there have just increased dramatically. This is my safe place. My landmark. My emotional support ice cream.

@residence_kann currently in an ongoing battle with @faunaparis for the title of my favourite scandinavian breakfast in Paris. This is my neighbourhood sunday morning spot : soft-boiled eggs, slices of cheese, very good bread (and i mean veryyyy good bread), plus whipped butter with hazelnuts that i genuinely dream about at night. I spend the whole week waiting for the weekend just to come back here. Thank you for making my sundays prettier — and considerably more delicious.

@acidlacticparis literally on the same street as @residence_kann (do i ever leave my neighbourhood ? no. should i ? perhaps) Named @timeoutparis’s best pizza in Paris for 2026, and honestly, we kno
