UP ON THE WEBSITE

1) Staff artist Chloe Sun @gallery.of.sun paints the beauty of Asian eyes in her oil on canvas “Her Eyelids Flutter”- a commentary on the appropriation of Asian eyes in Western beauty.

2) In “A Taste of Hong Kong,” Hyning Gan @byhyning captures fashion designer Charis Li, aka Passion Craze’s @passioncraze line “捐窿捐罅,” which reflects the essence of Hong Kong’s street and food culture.

3) “The never ending catch-22 of “what if” / stars always made to unmake themselves / at least once” writes staff poet Annie Wu @annie.wuu in her poem pairing “the essence of space,” which explores the brief infinities of humans in relation to the stars.
