*a brief intermission from the current plot* 😜🤰

(Currently dreaming of beach sunsets as I eat an entire container of gluten-free cheese tortellini from my couch😅 today I’ve been editing a backlog of what’s probably thousands of images for work so here’s a throwback to a pic I got to edit for fun during a break. Hope your weekend was filled with adventure or rest or whatever you needed!)

A few months ago I spent 10 days exploring Namibia along @passporterapp and @namibiatourismboard 🇳🇦These are some shots from the afternoon we spent getting to know the Himba culture, chatting with them and learning about their everyday live.

Estupenda mente 🙃

While in Namibia 🇳🇦 I had the opportunity to photograph and film members of the Himba community, and one of the things that immediately caught my attention was their hair.

The distinctive Himba hairstyles reflect tradition, identity, and a way of life passed down through generations. The deep red colour comes from a mixture of orkra and otjize, a traditional blend of orkra pigment and animal fat that is applied to the hair and skin.

Thanks again to @passporterapp and @namibiatourismboard for this incredible life experience.

A few frames from Namibia 🇳🇦

We went there to film a project for @passporterapp & @namibiatourismboard, but somewhere between the long drives, the dust, the wildlife and those endless landscapes, I kept stopping to take photographs.

Here are 20 of them.
