We are not friends—we are infrastructure🔥

Women. Wives. Mothers. Career builders.
Sisters by choice, rooted in love and loyalty.

In the middle of full lives, we still choose each other—and that’s the magic. Friendsmas was beautiful because this sisterhood is intentional!

I am grateful for these bad ass women who hold me down and lift me higher. My sisters. Always. 🤍❤️💚✨

Happy birthday Shavil. I’m so glad those nursing groups brought us together and our love for travel kept us connected. We’ve been rocking for almost ten years and it still blows my mind. I love your spirit. You’re fun, energetic, uplifting, an amazing person and an awesome friend.

Thank you for inviting me to celebrate your birthday in one of my dream destinations. Thailand has been everything and I hope this birthday has been everything and more for you. I pray you have many more.

A couple of weeks ago, a few of my FAVORITE women came to Houston to meet my daughter and spend quality time with me! So, I did a little Sip & See for my Bumblebee! And let me say, she was the star of the show!!🥹

Seeing Robbie surrounded by so much beautiful feminine energy healed a big part of me! The way they all embraced and loved her made me realize that the people that God placed in my life and that I CHOOSE daily are not just my tribe but hers as well!

Each of these women hold a very special place in my heart, and I am forever grateful! Cheers to us being in our Auntie Era! I love you all more than you know!

My girls are AMAZING! Life without them is something I hope to never experience! This pregnancy journey has been a beautiful one, and they have been so helpful!

About 90 days before we meet you, sweet baby girl! I can't wait for you to meet all of your beautiful aunties! 🌻🐝🩷 #RobynTerrell #Bumblebee #Babybernard #Friendsgiving #Friendship

It is very very rare when friends from different times of your life can connect with each other outside of you and form a whole sister circle. Many of these ladies I’ve known for many years. From family, to college, to travel nursing, Facebook, and on vacation, ect). Over the last 5 years of them all meeting each other, they all have become friends with one another. Some talk to each other more than I do. lol. And I love it. I’m not a jealous friend. And I don’t mind sharing my friends with my other friends. It is literally All Genuine love.. I love that my friends are friends!!! This weekend 9 out of 10 of Our Sister Circle all joined together, from 6 different states, for our First Annual Friendsgiving! We laughed, we danced, we had deep conversations, we had fun, we ate our fat hearts out, but most of all we loved on each other. Because whew Life has Been Life-ing….. But this was a very fun and much needed weekend. We are already planning for next year trip… #Grateful #Thankful #Blessed #SisterCircle #Friendsgiving 🍁 I don’t own the rights to the music.

Happy Children’s Book Week!

We appreciate our customers sooooo much! It is your support that allows us to keep publishing more books that highlight Black & Brown children as the MAIN characters in children’s literature. We love you all!

We had such an amazing time this past weekend at the LA Times book festival!!

✨ We had fun games and activities
✨ Friends, family & the BEST customers visited
✨ We released & sold out of our coloring book 🤩

✨ And most importantly, so many kids got their hands on our books and can now see themselves reflected every time they read them. ✨

Thank you all for a successful weekend. Year 2 was one for the books. See you next year!!
