Part 1. My sons Nan bought them this 04 Mazda Alexa for them to learn to drive in 🙏🏾 I had some vinyl wrap that I got off my brother that was meant for this truck but it got stolen and I knew that one day I’d have a use for it. Never having wrapped a car before it was a huge learning experience that takes a bit of patience. Paired up with some cans of spray paint, few things off Temu, I started. #mazda3 #alexa #carwrapping #firsttime

This was before I raced 21km, half of which was into a sou’wester headwind … this joyful face was not seen for days afterwards 🤣

But I loved that we did this, Paddy and I in our respective teams with our cool as waka fams

Stoked with our Heilala placing of fifth in our grade of 12 teams, and 12th overall in the whole race. And a big holy moly to the men’s crew and their 🥈!!

I’m grateful to waka for helping manage my blood pressure
