Hello Everyone .. the weekend has begun surely! Its still Kathryn @riverviewcottagegarden A second thing that I have found as a person just beginning on an events florists journey has been ..remember where you are. I live just outside the village of Ballintubber in Co Roscommon. Ballintubber has a very active @visitballintubber tidy towns team. They are trying very hard to make the village a thriving place despite being so rural and far from big funding. This means that there is a wonderful old School hall that I can rent for events and workshops which is fabulous for photos. The first two photos are here .. an autumn wedding reception. The tidy towns team put on a great St Patricks day parade! and look its not just organic flowers I arrange! So don't forget that you are part of a place, and that place has people who are working hard to make it thrive (even if your personalities and ethos clash) and can help to smooth your way locally so that you can build on the events and photo ops to show the wider world what you can do. They thrive on the parish newsletter so don't forget this if you want to advertise something. And lastly when you encounter other people who are as enthusiastic as you are cherish them and build with them. the last few pics are of wonderful producers at @roscommonproducenetwork , a bath full of bartered florals to dry ,my floristy partner in crime @susie_blooms making foraged xmas wreathes in September ..like you do! , and June at @patch_workgarden who has been video technician and big girl pant talk provider this week. Its all about the emitters and builders. find them and try to be one so you can lift as you rise... As you were..... happy weekend! x K
