Our six favourite new restaurants of the year so far include three Asian restaurants – one Thai fusion spot, another that’s a return to a chef’s Malaysian roots, and a third from a first-time restaurateur whose first foray into hospitality has been a hit. There’s a French brasserie with a neighbourhood feel, a Hills restaurant from a major player on the Adelaide food scene, and a menu from a local favourite that actually tastes better when you’re hungover.

Very excited to discover @patchkitchengarden by Andy Davies, Belle Kha, Peter Harvey and Mette Cordes-Harvey- such a joy to be able to eat chef Andy’s food again! He’s even doing his blue swimmer crab pasta that I’ve missed so much! A beautiful spot and a great menu.

It’s been so nice (and tiring!! 😅) hanging out in Adelaide with Navy, family & friends. Definitely nice to know we can travel together & I’m hoping for good naps when we get home hehe. ☺️

An amazing day here in Adelaide, the weather, just perfect. So it was off to Patch out at Stirling. Once a post office and general store, now a lovely eatery, with beautiful gardens and tasteful interiors. Hummus, jewelled grain salad and delicious burger were our orders of the day. So worth the drive out there.

Loved helping local #greenitygreengreen stars @patchkitchenandgarden launch delish new 'dinners after dark' menu this week. All came together beautifully and looked awesome, although somehow I managed to miss out on one of these gorgeous little chocolate brownie parcels in the end. Really must adjust my priorities. Thanks everyone for coming/joining in/supporting. Now getting life back on track after mid-gig chaos. Beef short rib is in the smug cooker with ginger, soy, cumin and some other found objects (won't be anywhere near as good as Patch but a slow cooker meal is always a feelgood Sunday moment). 🌵🌞🤓👩‍🍳👩‍🌾🌲🍁🍂🐾🐾
