Photo dump from our last mini trip of the summer to Philadelphia. There was a cute mini art prints vending machine at our hotel in Rittenhouse and we found another one at Reading Terminal. Such a cute souvenir! #miniprintvendingmachine

Had to take our Rocky print to the Rocky statue especially since we had introduced the kids to the Rocky films I-IV over the summer. They even recognized the trailer for the upcoming 'I Play Rocky' film and were like, "Is that a movie about those movies we've been bingeing?" 😆
#rockystatue

Did a lot of walking and eating and those Uber eats robots were everywhere!

Noms

Emma was the big winner this time at Round1. This was the very first one we had ever been to and is still our favorite. Can't wait for the one in Wheaton to open soon!

Can't visit Philly without eating at Reading Terminal. Got our usual non-negotiables (pastrami Rachel from Hershel's and roast pork w/broccoli rabe from Dinic's) but discovered and added a new spot...
#readingterminalmarket #phillyeatingspree

Miller's Twist cheesesteak pretzel is now added to the Reading must haves! Then ventured to South Philly for an actual real cheesesteak at Angelo's Pizzeria. Worth the wait but we got there before the long line which formed as we were waiting for our order to be called.

Then walked over to the nearby new Chinese-Cuban spot Chibanos. Had a short wait for a table, but that just gave Mike and the kids more time to catch Pokemon and for me to explore the cute neighborhood.

McDonalds McGriddles are my guilty pleasure and the Chino breakfast sandwich was the leveled-up Chinese-Cuban version! Everything else was super good too! We forgot to take a photo before we dug into the Chinese sausage croquetas.

Cute one way neighborhood streets.

A burger appreciation post for #NationalBurgerDay, in its purest form. From stacked classics to chef-driven builds (and even a “Best Burger in PA” winner at @redowltavern), each one brings its own kind of char and serious juice factor. 🍔

Consider this your sign to celebrate.

A cozy modern spot for dinner and cocktails in Rittenhouse 🍸

@patchworkphilly located on the second floor of the Hyatt Centric, is a New American spot with a small but mighty dinner menu. We started with some refreshing cocktails and the onion dip with waffle potato chips which was so addicting I couldn’t stop munching. I loved the steak frites with the Diane sauce, and ending the night with the cheesecake and fudge brownie was the perfect move 😋
