We are excited to share this new concept that has been in the making for many years. A new 3,000 square foot event venue space for our beloved Rockaway Beach NYC community located at the historic MTA 116th street train station storefronts. This venue will host youth programs & workshops.

For adults, a full bar alongside live music & other scheduled events. The semi-indoor backyard will host a full skateboard mini ramp & lounge area. We are looking forward to sharing more info very soon as our rapid build out continues. So stay tuned!! Thank You for all these years of love & support we are grateful for this opportunity 🙏❤️🙏

ABOUT:
1963–1997
For over 35 years, the original spot served the Lower East Side locals, night owls, musicians, and anyone passing through the neighborhood’s busiest streets. Subway rumble, music, and constant foot traffic all mixed with the smell of fresh pizza coming out of the oven.

1997–2020
When rents went up, SAL had to leave Houston Street and moved just a block away to 173 Orchard Street, at Orchard and Stanton. He stayed there another 22 years. Same late night energy, same mix of clubgoers, families, and regulars who followed SAL over keeping that original LES spirit alive.
