This is the absolute least we could do my brother, you always told me you didn’t want to make a board for yourself, so here it is motherfucker. Much thanks to @parliamentskateshop @itsbenoneil @mate_doggg @irragg for helping make this happen. These boards are spoken for but they will be available strictly through Parliament skateshop next week. Be sure to get down to Hibiscus skatepark tomorrow at 3pm for a skate, free bbq, live music jam sessions and show some support to the one man who supported every single one of us in countless ways. I love you @onetwo_cooper SODDY FOREVER!!!!! ❤️

It’d been close to a year since I’d shot anything when Soddy called to ask if I’d do another ad for him. We had a long chat about how I’d lost my passion, my camera needed a clean and a whole shopping list of excuses to not. He was like ‘yeah but nah, no one else is dumb enough to want to do this Addict family portrait idea. It’ll be a fun day.’ He ordered food and drink for everyone, found a free machine and ushered us in as he masked up. I got a quick burst of shots and we were asked to leave. I wasn’t happy on the quality of the images but he was like ‘fuck it, they tell the story and the lights look weird’ then handed me a wad of cash. Sod published one as an ad and that was the last “real photo” I shot. Really going to miss the wild gatherings, random encounters, phone calls and novel D&M’s in the DM’s. We all have our ups and downs and it’s like he was capable of handling both for the people around him better than himself. He wanted to be in the background of all his shoots, shining a light on his mates. Hard man with a heart of gold and the biggest cutie.
SODDY FOREVER 🖤
