The pouring rain is not going to stop these girls from racking up another win! The lightning put them on pause for a bit but they resumed play and played to a 10-3 victory over Mahtomedi! Cleats are on the hockey dryer to get ready for tomorrow’s morning game in Rosemount! Big kudos to Pat Donaghy’s dedication and passion to sports pictures, his game got cancelled in Chanhassan so he came home to Woodbury and decided to come out in the pouring rain and take some crazy rain pics! He’s nuts but we love him! ❤️

SHE DID IT!! Sydney broke the record for the All Time Leading Points holder in East Ridge history! To say she’s come a long way is an understatement. From the exception Pat Donaghy had to get for her to even try lacrosse her first year of WuLax (due to being young for her class), to freshman year breaking the goals record for a freshman to senior year breaking the All time leading points holder in East Ridge history! Quite the journey, and look what can happen when you believe in a kid! She never ceases to amaze me. I feel truly blessed and humbled that people wanted to be there for this moment and support and celebrate her in this accomplishment. It’s a true gift to have friends like that. To me, the true celebration is the support received and the love felt from the flowers and sign from friend Kate Sandberg (who couldn’t be there tonight), to the sign Colleen and Brooke Roth made (total professional job!), to the coaches that work with her and talk strategy (Rich, Marty, Connor), to the people that came and watched and applauded her accomplishment (Tom and Sue Lorentz, Jodi Bungarden and Pat Donaghy) and to her team for being genuinely happy for her and cheering her on because we all know it’s a team sport and she wouldn’t be in this position without having great teamwork in place with the best team ever! The old record was 152 points, after today’s game of 6 goals and one assist, Syd is at 159. #proudmama #teamsport #nevergiveup #clutch

Losing a friend is hard. I will carry John Woodward in my heart forever. It has been an honor to serve the Woodbury Lax community with John since 2010. Coaching, parenting, serving, traveling and watching over 200 LAX games and serving 8 years as Board Members together was an absolute treasure. @woodburyunitedlax @erhs_lacrosse @whs_boys_lacrosse @teammnlax
