Lyndon Johnson flew me out to NYC and introduced me to the best team in the world. It is humbling and amazing to work with a team of such sweetheart genius freaks as these. See LBJ while you can (tickets selling FAST). Thank you to everyone who has ever spent their time, money, energy, and laughter supporting this show. Politics is about people and it turns out, so is showbiz. ❤️🤠

My reflections on Gonzalo: I knew him the first time I read the script.
Some characters require transformation. Gonzalo only required that I become a vessel for the words on the page.
He sees the world clearly as it is. All the wreckage, the cruelty, and folly, yet still works toward the world he believes it can become.
His optimism is often mistaken for foolishness and naivety, but it’s really just hope forged in the storms of life.
His humor, compassion, loyalty, and faith in humanity weren’t qualities I had to dig for and put on. I simply had to open myself and let them move through me.

Gonzalo is living proof that storms end.

So am I.
