This is how Sunshine Solace was born
I used to work all day and never switch off at night, always putting everyone else first.
Through my own struggles, I learned something that changed everything: I was my own healer. No one else could change my life. Only I could. So I did.

Breathwork and community became my passion because they truly changed my life. Sitting in those spaces, breathing alongside others and sharing vulnerability, taught me how to show up for myself.
With every breath, my dream life took shape a little more.

Now I get to hold that same space for you, and show you that you can do it too. My classes, sessions and 1:1s aren't just "breathwork and meditation" there a place for you to soften and let someone else hold you for a change.

I am in no way fully healed, nor ever will be but its progress over perfection and im here to show you that too!

My first ever @coldandconscious session. ❄️

@meditatingislander was one of the facilitators. I remember thinking: what have I gotten myself into?

These people are huggers.
Then came the connection exercises.
Talking about my feelings? Hard no. I’d had that locked up tight for years.

Eye gazing for the length of a song? You’ve got to be mad.

But here’s the truth: the ice bath is the easy part.
The hard part is finding the voice you silenced.
Letting yourself be seen. Be heard. Be vulnerable.
Letting yourself feel.

That day cracked me open. It changed my life.

And now, 18 months later, I found myself back on the beach at one of @meditatingislander events, snd I could see her. The version of me who first sat there.
I cried for her. She cried too.
And then I felt this overwhelming pride.

Because this past week I’ve been so cruel to myself.
“You’re a shit mum. You’re ugly. You’re fat. You’re dumb. You’re not good enough.”
My brain shouted the lies and searched for proof.

But on that beach I realised how far I’ve come.

And I cried for every version of me along the way:
The girl who wanted her dad to love her.
The girl who hated her body and punished it.
The girl who thought sex was her only worth.
The girl who silenced herself and locked up her pain.

I cried… and I thanked her.

Because without her, I wouldn’t be here.

It’s time to close the book on a massive chapter.

I’ve been holding on with fingers tips but the reality is, my heart hasn’t been in it for a very long time. And this last innings just proved that to me.

I want to thank everyone who’s been a part of this community from the start. Whether we’re still close or not, every single one of you have a massive part in my heart that I’ll forever be grateful for. You’ve made me rich in ways money never could. It’s because of you I was able to take a swing at what society calls “normal”, and do my part at adding a bit of light to the world. The lives we impacted are beyond counting.

I’m not going to lie, the last two years have been dark. People came. People went. Lessons were learnt. But I’ve been walking into the light, and I’ve never been clearer on who I am, what I value, and where I draw the line.

So now, I’m walking away to focus on a new mission and allowing space for myself to really ground and grow - to really heal, and rebuild a life that matters.

And maybe now, I can start sharing again -
In a way that’s real. That’s honest. That’s actually me. Because it hasn’t felt that way in a long time.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this:
Take the leap.
Try the thing.
Start the idea that won’t let you sleep.
Let it break you open, let it teach you something.
It’s all worth it.

Because even if it doesn’t go the way you planned, You’ll walk away braver, wiser, and more you than before.

And im pretty sure that’s the whole point.
