My face when it sunk in this morning that my application to live and work in the US on an O1 visa had been approved. If you guys have been following me for a while, you’ll know that my lifetime goal, since 14 has been to live in NYC. Since visiting with my family I always felt like that place was my home, being there just felt right. Since then I begged my parents to pay for me to go to college there, that’s at least £60,000 a year. I went to the talk with my bro hoping I could maybe get a work visa for the company I work for now. I got there early, sat in the front row with pen and paper and took notes on everything. Notes which weren’t even relevant but I felt like I needed all the info! After the talk I asked Ashkan if we could meet and we met with my bro the next day, free of charge. I talked about my role at my company and what might make me applicable to get a work visa... (continue reading in comments 👇)
