My husband doing the thing! @itsthembabies @joshlahoma

It was such a pleasure to shoot them in studio. I haven’t felt this happy in a while. Getting back in the groove. Taking photos, making videos. Thank you guys. Much love and I can’t wait to see you what we do next. Oh, I shot on film too. Please repost if you can! Share on your stories! With love, Patrice. 💖✨💖

Don’t forget, their first single “Long Summer Dress” is on all streaming platforms! Dig it!

@patricesharonjackson has held a prominent role in my life: concert buddy, photography buddy, adventure buddy, secret-holding buddy - you name it - we probably experienced it together with some sort of debauchery in tow. We’ve seen the best and worst of each other and that’s a real bond, ya know. Especially when we have the same art medium (many creative efforts and photo albums have been logged). She’s so great cause she’s humble yet is head-strong and knows what to do to get her goals achieved without having that pushy “entertainment mindset” attitude.

Patrice has compiled two volumes of work dedicated to @deltaspirit, a formative band for me and my music industry beginnings. Both Patrice and DS have a close spot to my heart and always will; I feel like we were all trying to figure ourselves and our shit out and this is how we knew how to do it and this is a great depiction of that effort.

The cover photo of Vol. 1 is a photo Patrice gifted to me long ago, a remnant of SXSW 2009 when shit didn’t matter, except for being as close as possible to get that shot (even if it meant intruding the stage, asking politely to be up there, of course). Being a country bumpkin princess from the Thumb of Michigan, this all resonates with me. Patrice and Delta Spirit, y’all mean so much to me and I’m happy to see this in print. 💖💖💖

Happy birthday to the most wonderful @laurenridloff. I’m so grateful to know this woman. My first stand-in job was for her on #thewalkingdead and here we are 4 years later.

This photo was taken last year. I’ve learned so much for Lauren. She helped me with my #ASL, we bonded over our love of tea, books, etc…to Here’s to you Lauren! May your day be filled with magic.
