Holidays & 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘪𝘭𝘺 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 ❤️ We spent our first weekend engaged surrounded by the people who have loved us well and prayed us into this season.

This room held so much more than a celebration. It held years of friendship, answered prayers, laughter, and the kind of support that carries you when life feels heavy and celebrates you when joy finally arrives.

Grateful beyond words for @kellylancarte, whose friendship and generosity have made the @joetgarcias_ family table a place where memories are made and love feels easy.

There is an old Greek myth about a young, beautifully handsome man named Narcissus. It is said that through a curse of the gods and his own vanity, he fell in love with his own reflection. Because he could not leave it, he died on the bank of a lake.

Narcissus is the root of the modern day tales about narcissists among us. :)

But did you know that there are three different versions of the myth? And that each one gives us insight into the nature of love & compassion for each other, and for ourselves?

I’ll bet you look in the mirror every day! At least once. And I wonder, who do you see?
