John Thompson (September 2, 1941 - August 31, 2020)

Listen folks, today marks five years since we said goodbye to my favorite Coach - “The Man” - “The Myth” - “The Legend” - Coach John Thompson - the man who took a nondescript losing Georgetown University basketball team in 1972 and made it into a powerhouse under his leadership of 27 years!

Had he not recruited my Jamaican brother Patrick Ewing for Georgetown University - I doubt that basketball would be popular in Jamaica today!!

Equally important, he gave us (Philadelphia) “The Answer” - Allen Iverson - and we are forever grateful!

John Thompson built men - a surrogate father who cared about his players’ lives after basketball that he imparted life lessons.

He used his platform for social justice and equality never backing down or being afraid to be unpopular.

John Thompson was simply a great, great man!

He will live forever in our hearts, in our minds and in our stories!

Gone, but will never, ever be forgotten!

Rest in Paradise Coach.

🎉 @nlr_restoration Client Appreciation Lunch – Tomorrow at 1:00 PM! 🎉

We’re thrilled to be hosting our 2nd Annual Client Appreciation Lunch tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 PM right here at the NLR Stadium in Murarrie!

This year, we’ve doubled our client base from last year, and we couldn’t be prouder or more grateful for the incredible relationships we’ve built and nurtured.

Here’s what’s in store:
🌮 Mexican Food Truck – come hungry!
🤝 Engaging Networking – connect, share, and grow.
🏭 Guided Facility Tour – explore our upgraded and extensive Contents Recovery Department, hosted by our specialist technician leader Kristie.
🏀 Star-Studded Basketball Competition – with the champion winning 4 corporate box seats to a Brisbane Bullets NBL game this season in our luxury box. And just a word of warning… the last time the Bullets stepped into our stadium, they underestimated the OG. They didn’t know I once averaged 50.1 points per game in the S.E.A.B.L., including 12 three-pointers in a single game. Think you’ve got what it takes? We’ll see…
🎁 Special Surprise? – Let’s just say, if timing works out (and they’re brave enough), you might witness something unforgettable!

📽 Watch the short video to see what could happen tomorrow – and make sure you’re ready to bring your A-game, enthusiasm, networking skills, and big appetite.

We can’t wait to celebrate YOU, our amazing clients, this Friday at 1:00 PM!
