“The Resilient Melodies.” This band of local widowed women musicians came together in the face of adversity, using their love for music to overcome struggles in raising their families after losing their spouses. Their music reflects their resilience, blending elements of folk, blues, and soul, with lyrics that speak to the challenges they’ve faced and the strength they’ve found within themselves. Despite the hardships they’ve endured, their passion for music and commitment to their families have remained unwavering, making them an inspiration to their community.

In mission of @np_arts_kigali there is promote and providing platform for both emerging and elite artists. This group exhibition is curated by Np Arts Gallery in order to keep some of its missions.

We titled this exhibition “DIVERSITY” in order to give artist freedom of expression and give our audience a different taste because is a compelling showcase that embodies the essence of art exploration through a lens of inclusivity and varied perspectives.

This exhibition has around 20 artworks where it celebrates the richness of diversity by featuring artworks from a diverse array of artists, representing different backgrounds, culture and artistic styles.

By highlighting the multitude of voices and narratives within the art world, it invites viewers to embrace and appreciate the beauty of differences, fostering a deeper understanding of the complex interplay between art, identity, and society.

Through this exploration, the exhibition not only celebrates diversity but also serves as a catalyst for meaningful conversations and connections, showcasing the transformative power of art in bridging divides and fostering unity.
This five-months prepared exhibition, artist was able to do their own research and choose their own style of expression. In this collective exhibition, we didn’t forget gender balance because we believe that we all have given same capacity in thinking and talent. The concept of diversity encompasses a profound acknowledgement of gender balance and beaty as essential facets of human expression and experience within the art world.
