It’s taken me some time to post about this to let the people that follow me know that last year I was in a severe car accident that almost took my life!

I was driving home from a friends house in Newport on a regular Sunday night and a person was coming out of their friends driveway and didn’t see me because of that I hit them when I had the right of way. As a person who takes my practice very seriously I don’t do drugs and I don’t even drink but I don’t want to assume that drinking had anything to do with it but the person was with friends with their children and the children were in the car during this as well!

Getting out of my car and seeing my car was one of the most terrifying experiences I’ve ever had to go through and not having my hearing for months after in my left ear was also very scary too! I have good days and bad days but a person who’s had a traumatic brain injury after a concussion it can take years to recover from! I just started physical therapy for it and also going to a neuropsychologist to help me deal with what happened to me because I’m still going through the after effects of the accident!

I’m grateful to be alive for the people who depend on me, for me to continue to make this world a better place, and most importantly my son who needs his mother! This accident has made me have more of a heart for people that have been in the same situation I have been in and to all of you who have been in the same position I see you, I understand you, and I love you!!! I’m a firm believer of turning tragedy into a beautiful testimony for others to witness and know that you can get through anything with God and it’s only Him that can restore us!

The people tagged are the ones who were there for me throughout this whole healing process and journey, gave me massages, were there for me when I needed help recovering, and made sure I was eating!
