Reality and Rendering. I made a couple of tiny tweaks, but you can see how my vision came to life so easily based on the renderings from @patrickaresendiz 👏🏼

Stained island or black? If you’ve been following along for a while, you know how I feel about our stain color. However, I haven’t seen the cabinets installed yet so I was undecided. @patrickaresendiz put these together so I can see them from the same angles. I think I’m going to leave them stained and then paint them later if I absolutely hate it. Patrick also changed the stained mudroom cabinets (these will come later) to black. This helps balance out the pantry and mudroom. He knows how much I love symmetry! Which option is your fave?

Forever thankful for the talent of @patrickaresendiz! We had to lay out the cabinets to get plumbing marked off and location of island lighting. I felt so unsure by the lines on the floor but Patrick was able to show me what the kitchen would look like with the changes we were making before finalizing with plumber! He even gave ideas that worked 10x better! He has saved this entire build room after room!! #thankfulgratefulblessed

3rd meeting with our cabinet maker today, and it’s been a breeze thanks to our renderings from @patrickaresendiz - So excited for this kitchen to come to life. 🖤🏡

I can confirm that I actually do NOT want a light gray roof (gray roof rendering in the post below this 👇🏼). I can’t recommend @patrickaresendiz and his 3D renderings enough!!

Our great room renderings are here and I’m in love! @patrickaresendiz is helping us envision colors, styles and get everything to scale which is super important in a new build. He also found a few things (again) that were a bit off and/or didn’t make sense. And this staircase 😍 The show stopper curved balcony was squared off originally and I hated it. I would’ve never known until it was too late to change. Now we have this gorgeous curve and it’s something that our builder can still fix. I LOVE it! We’ll still be tweaking a few things like railings, colors, decor etc but this is perfection. I can’t wait to live here!

Obsessed 😍 the talented @patrickaresendiz is helping us take our boring and bland fireplace wall (swipe through to see what we’re currently working with), and making it fit our home. This is option #1 for our fireplace/bookshelves and I’m in love!!

Listen - renderings are worth it and I wish I had done this from the start. Not only would it have saved us some mistakes in our home that now drive me bananas, but my husband isn’t blessed with the gift of envisioning things based on a house plan or Pinterest board. I wish I had done this for him. And working with Patrick is a dream. He is taking my moodboards and creating exactly what I pictured. I can’t wait to see what he creates for the other 4 options!

Happy Friday! Oh, you know, just sitting here having a cup of tea and toast before I start my day. 🤣 One day I’ll get to really say that. One day far far from now. Until move in, I’m so glad I have pics like these from @patrickaresendiz to keep our eyes on the end result! There’s still some tweaking to be done to the wood tone but I mean look at this! I’m so grateful for his talent! Have a great day everyone!

The exterior details are still evolving, BUT I’m so over the moon with where this house of ours is heading. ✨
