First tarpon‼️ After running some shark trips we decided to get after some Silver Kings and plugged one on the @jygprofishing 5 inch Chubby! The @okumafishingusa Salina and Silver Slayer rod sealed the deal on this guy! Very blessed to be able to hook this fish from a kayak and paddle it back in to land it on the beach. 🤙 Also big shoutout to @patrickderenn for helping me land this thing. #okuma #tarpon #jyg #fishing #florida

You wanna know what true passion is? True passion is something you can’t fake. It’s not something you can force. It’s not something you can teach overnight. It’s something that shows up when someone truly follows their heart and lives for what they love. Our guides, @patrickderenn and @junobray, have that kind of passion. This summer has already been a grind. These guys have only had a few days off. They’ve ran trips four days straight, six days straight, nine days straight, five days straight, six days straight, with literally one day off in between. They’ve worked from noon until 3 o’clock in the morning. They’ve gotten back to the house at 4 a.m., loaded the kayaks, gone red fishing until sunrise, gone to bed, and still woke up ready to run another trip. And on their off days, instead of resting, they’re still fishing. This video is exactly that. They chose to go catch a tarpon from the beach, from the shark fishing kayak, because that’s just who they are. All summer long, they’ve put clients on sharks. They’ve worked long nights, long hours, and hard trips, and they’ve done it with a smile. They don’t just show up. They show up hungry. They show up passionate. They show up excited to share what they love with other people. This crew is special. It’s been an honor over the past two months to watch these guys work together, grow together, and turn into such a dialed team. They’re beaming with confidence, and they’re beaming with passion. That’s something special to witness. That’s something special to be a part of. We’re thankful to have these guys on our team.
