Endings don’t close chapters…they reveal them. This year brought lessons I didn’t ask for, clarity I needed, and momentum I earned. Some things worked. Some things broke and I kept moving anyway. Grateful for the people who stood beside me. I wouldn’t be here without them. My appreciation runs deeper than words. Next year isn’t about becoming someone new…just continuing forward.

🎵 🎹 I can’t remember when the earth turned slowly
So I just waited with the lights turned out again
I lost my place but I can’t stop this story
I’ll find my way but until then I’m only spinning

Corktown + Muliett Park = ♥️ Match #6 Pheasants 2, Mullets 0. Fast-paced game! This was at the tail end of a four-day streak of temps in the '90s, storms came through earlier and it was also very humid. 🥵 The sideline clapping after Ashby's goal. Kyle and Kiah in a duel. Christina trying to slip through their defense. Ryan giving halftime strategy talk. "Birds on three!!!". Mullets on the attack. Ryan with a big goal kick. New comer Luke getting high-fived after scoring the second goal (it was complete BS that the ref, after Matt scored a third goal on a breakaway at the end of time, said the game ended before and the goal didn't count). We love Juhno. Post-game, high-five line - Christian defending Marty in front of our goal mouth was a great battle. Emily. Kiah. Ashby, back from injury, is Pheasant of the match! 🦆 Patrick brought some Irish Whiskey. Sammie brought water balloons and lots of other fun stuff and there was a water balloon fight after the game ended! 😂. The "after."
