🎉✨ Happy New Year, everyone! 🎊 As I step into 2026, I can’t help but reflect on the incredible journey I’ve taken over the past couple of years. It’s been a whirlwind filled with breathtaking highs and challenging moments that have truly tested me. But here’s the secret: I’ve learned that growth flourishes outside of my comfort zone!

I’ve embraced my inner resilience and discovered that being an event planner and designer is what truly nourishes my creative spirit after my time as a theater artist. I’m thrilled to say I’ve found my footing and am buzzing with excitement to share stories and craft unforgettable moments through this new artistic avenue.

This year is brimming with thrilling projects and incredible connections that I’m ready to make. I’m eager to keep my inner storyteller alive and can’t wait for all the magic this year will bring! I’m incredibly grateful to the amazing individuals in my life who are uplifting and supporting me on this adventure.

Here’s to 2026—let’s make it epic! 🚀

As I looked through some of my photos, I stumbled upon memories from that truly fun night at Glen Oak. The shoot was quite the adventure, filled with challenges and unexpected moments. Working with the complexities of the project—regardless of its size—taught me a great deal. The weather and other surprises required a lot of quick thinking and troubleshooting, but I believe that sometimes these hurdles lead to even better outcomes than we originally envisioned.

Of course, there were moments when I joked about wanting to jump off a bridge into the river due to the stress! But through it all, I was incredibly grateful for the wonderful team of local wedding artists who rallied together and made it all come together beautifully. I’m continually inspired by the immense talent in our area, and every opportunity like this feels like a chance to delve deeper into my own creativity and growth.

I’m already looking forward to the next adventure, and I have a concept brewing that I think is going to be really exciting—stay tuned!

An iconic night honoring AAPI journalists in TV news. Linda Yu, Lori Matsukawa, and David Louie. When they started their careers, they were the “firsts” to break many barriers, imagining a pipeline of the next generations of journalists of AANHPI descent. And now it’s not just imagination. The @theveryasianfoundation thanks our partners @taaforg and @unitedtalent , for @aajaofficial for bringing us all together in this way every year, and photographer Patrick of @patrickleophotos. Special thanks to @chrisnguyentv for leading the charge in pulling this all together in such touching way with journalists who grew up watching these trailblazers, escorting them.
