A pair of painted Directoire Fauteuils are newly upholstered in Milano Linen for Claremont. Behind it sits a Mike Diaz Rosario Table with a Nicholas Newcomb x Patrick Mele Balloon Lamp. In the window are two hand-painted round pedestals with large navy Jean Roger Paris urns.

The season of “mists and mellow fruitfulness” is approaching, and I love going to the farmers’ markets and seeing what nature comes up with and re-creating it in clay. Nature never disappoints!

A tablescape that continues to visit me…a kaleidoscope of colors, textures, and patterns. When I first walked into this stunning dining room with the custom chandelier created by @danmazzarini and @stacyrauen of @stay_and_gather, I knew immediately the direction I wanted this table to go for the 2026 @rumsoneducationfoundation Kitchen Tour. Working together with florist @theflowercartgirl and @nestforeveryone, we brought this magical room to another level.

Inspired by the circular shapes of the chandelier, I wanted to feature these ceramic salad plates by renowned ceramist @newcombpottery Newcomb created specially for designer Patrick Mele, which I places on ceramic plates by @hawkinsnewyork. These block pront linens by @soiltostudio tied everything together, and softened the harder edges and angles of the shapes within the room.

The overall table design is styled to highlight artisanal items in a home of an art philanthropist - from the hand thrown and painted ceramic pieces, to the handblown glassware, to the block print linens, to the individual painted place cards

All products sourced and available at local retail shop Nest: table linens, dinner plates, vintage candle stick holders and glassware. Placecards were handpainted by me.
