I haven’t put out recordings of my music in years so today I’m releasing three albums at the same time. These recordings span almost ten years of work, performance, and collaborations, and all in all exist as documentation of my creative practice so far. Thanks to all the performers who made this possible and whom I will include in upcoming posts.

1. Text Scores is the result of a recording session made in December of 2025. It mostly features stuff I’ve worked on during my time in Santa Cruz…and it’s all text scores.

2. Ketchup Packets is a recording of @chrispierandozzie’s graphic score of the same name. Side A includes four takes of Chris’ score, while side B contains live recordings of two of my compositions.

3. Quartet is a double album. Disk 1 is a re-release of a previously digital only recording of my Mills College quartet. Disk 2 contains the recording of a live performance of my quartet in Mexico City.

All recordings are individual takes captured with a single stereo microphone setup, no added reverb, and with the exception of Ketchup Packets, no compression other than some limiting in the mastering process.

You can listen to all three albums on streaming or on Bandcamp for free.

Super excited to feature (for the first time in this new resurrection of the band) the great @number_1_dude on sax!
