Jesus Christ has done the unimaginable in my life, heart, mind, and soul. He has completely transformed everything. My words could never suffice. I only have anything because of Him, and I am only anything because of Him. He uses summers like these to continue transforming my life, and my words will always fall short when trying to express it all. Apart from Christ, I am a broken, helpless, and empty human being- but by the grace of Jesus Christ, God saved me from my old life, consumed by sin and darkness, and brought me to true life- eternal life- and to a reality and expression of joy that comes only from the indwelling Holy Spirit. May my life continue to be an outpouring of the love that captured my heart and captivated my entire being. Thank you Jesus

My proof there is honey in the rock!!!

When I reflect on this summer, I am reminded of how sovereign and redeeming God has been in my life. The past nine weeks have been filled with so much love, sadness, joy, confusion, anger, and so much more. Yet through it all, one thing has remained constant, and that’s Jesus Christ.

This summer has shown me that even in seasons that feel dry or uncertain, God is faithful to provide exactly what we need. He has shown me that there truly is honey in the rock — that His sweetness, provision, and presence can be found in places I never expected. My heart has come to fully grasp that everything pales in comparison to knowing Jesus as Lord and Savior. I’m so thankful for the ways He has softened and pruned my heart, teaching me to love Him more deeply.

There truly is no greater gift than being a part of God’s plan to make Jesus known among the nations and to live a life that is pleasing to Him. I had many questions and anxieties about why I felt God so strongly calling me to go to Kaleo. Now I know it was to humble me and strengthen me for His Kingdom. I’m leaving confident and firmly rooted in my identity in Christ, resting in the grace and love that surround every part of me. — Thank you Jesus for the cross.

Slowly growing up but not slowing down!!!! — Just some tangible blessing I have from the Lord!

Thank you Jesus, My Lord and Savior. For it was through you I have been redeemed. For you have showed me and showered me in your love. I’m beyond happy to say that if not for you I would be lost in this world of sin. You have showed me love in so many ways, of course I still have my trials and tribulations I face on the regular, whether that be jail time, car accidents, family struggles, and more. Through it all though you were still right there beside me, walking with me through it all. Allowing me to keep a smile on my face and to always look forward and no longer dwell on the past. You have given me security in areas I never thought I could bring to light. For me to have refused your love, denied your Grace and turned my back to you for 23 years and you still never gave up on me, and instead to surround me with such love on the day I publicly profess my love for you. Just means so much, I wouldn’t want to go back to who I was before. You have already answered so many prayers of mine and begun to use me to change others, I’m so grateful. You have blessed me with so many amazing brothers and sisters in Christ and allowed me to be baptized the same day as a couple of them. I ask of you to continue to work on and through me, and continue to do so until the whole world is saved through you and your blood. For God so loved the world.

Thank you lord for all these blessings you put in my life in between new friendships, amazing opportunities, and a deeper connection with you. In simply just the first week of the new year you have allowed me to truly say and mean that in this new year, with your love you have created a new man. And I will not take this gift you have given me for granted, but will accept it with open arms and an open heart. Thank you lord, thank you Texas, thank you smc, and thank you to all my new friends. “For Auld Lang Syne, my dear, for Auld Lang Syne”.
2025 was a wonderful age for me. In this time I grew closer to my family, closer and to my Lord and, in doing so, achieved a greater understanding of myself. I suspect every so often we have those years that act as catalysts to drive the direction of our lives. I don’t doubt that, in the coming year, there will be exhilarating highs and crushing lows with lonesome valleys in between. But, as I was providentially reminded this year, God has set eternity in our hearts and has made everything good in its time. With every new day, I can rejoice that I am alive to share the gospel, and we are just one day closer to the coming of Lord!
