Turning Field Day Into Big League Dreams⚾️🥎

This week, 10 @thenccaa World Series college baseball teams stepped into Kansas City schools for our NCCAA Service Project — spending time with @kcpublicschools @kcps_athletics and Independence students through end-of-school field day activities, baseball and softball instruction, encouragement, and community connection.

Thank you to every NCCAA team for creating meaningful moments for KC students. The opportunity to play baseball and softball, build confidence, and spend time alongside college athletes is inspiring, empowering, and unforgettable for so many kids across our community. 🎉

Grateful for the opportunity to spend time with the Mission University Baseball team today before they head to the World Series this weekend.

What we talked about today wasn’t just about baseball.
It was about learning how to handle big moments without tightening up inside of them.

Because when athletes stop overthinking…
stop playing scared…
stop trying to be perfect…
that’s when they start competing FREE.

Free athletes trust their preparation.
They recover faster from mistakes.
They stay aggressive instead of hesitant.
They stop protecting and start competing.

And when a team learns how to do that together, everything changes:
The energy.
The confidence.
The connection.
The way they respond when the moment gets big.

That’s the transformation.

The stage gets bigger this time of year.
The pressure, expectations, and emotions do too.
But the best teams learn how to stay present inside of it instead of getting consumed by it.

Blessed to be part of the journey with this group of young men and their coaching staff. Now it’s time to trust it, stay present, and go compete the way you’re capable of.

Wishing Mission University Baseball the best at the World Series this weekend. ⚾️
