It’s YOU!

What a gift to wake up on your birthday and LOVE the life you’re living.

“I am so happy to be here with you!”

I say this in almost every class I teach because I genuinely feel it.

Today is my birthday, and I’m feeling especially grateful.

After 25 years as a Pastry Chef, I took a huge leap and opened STUDIO 311 Yoga & Fitness. Four plus years later, we’re getting ready to expand into our new Flow Studio.

I can hardly believe it.

This journey has been filled with faith, hard work and surrender on the daily. God is so good and continues to order my steps.

Today I’m celebrating my family, this beautiful life, our Flow Crew and all of YOU.

Local friends-

I’m subbing Pilates Sculpt tonight at 6:15 PM and I would LOVE to spend some time with you. We will put in the reps and possibly sweat a little. - sound fun?!

Jump in. Spots are still open.

Let’s do this!

What a training @insideflowusa

Seven days of intense learning, moving, sweating, laughing, doubting myself, and pushing way outside my comfort zone.

I’ve been a student of yoga for a long time, but teaching yoga is a completely different world. The terminology, movements, sequencing, alignment… SO much was new to me. Most of the women in my training were already yoga teachers, so I definitely had a lot to learn!

Luckily, I’m a lifelong musician 😉 I know how to count beats! 😂 I understand music, songwriting, lyrics, emotion, phrasing and performance, so at least I had the music part down! 🎶

Inside Flow is such a beautiful practice of bringing breath, music and movement together, and expressing the meaning and emotion of a song through your body.

If you watch all the slides in this post, you’ll see me going the wrong way, shaky hands, forgetting what comes next, getting help with my alignment.

But SO much laughter, encouragement, growth and connection too. I’m incredibly grateful for our teachers @lulu_soul @tora_yoging and @dancinbecka and for the amazing women who became my sisters from all over the world. 🌎❤️

And then… I PASSED! 🥹🙌🏼 I’m officially certified to teach Inside Flow! That final exam deserves its own video because it was HARD, and I’m really proud of myself.

I still have lots of studying and practicing to do, but I’m so excited to bring Inside Flow to Northern Virginia.

Grateful for the challenge, the growth, the music, the movement, the laughter, the Advil… and this beautiful community. 😂❤️

Inside Flow, let's go. 🎶
