Did you grab a clearance protein cookie off the store shelf, feel a chalky paste stick to the roof of your mouth, and wonder if you just threw hard-earned money straight into the trash?

I ran errands stocking up on weekly nutrition fuel at the store in Los Angeles before my 5AM training block. I spotted a pack of 4 Quest chocolate chip protein cookies marked down on clearance for $6.25 instead of the standard $12 box. Each cookie delivers 250 calories, 15 grams of protein, 9 grams of fiber, and less than 1 gram of sugar, with the full taste test up on my TikTok. When you coach busy professionals at dawn and train through demanding schedules, you do not leave your daily nutrition to chance.

Combining milk protein isolate with soluble fiber slows gastric emptying, blunts postprandial glucose spikes, and stimulates sustained muscle protein synthesis through prolonged amino acid release.

Be honest: do you check the fiber on the label, or do you only count the protein? 👇

If you are strong enough to lift the weight, you are strong enough to put it away.

I checked my Apple Watch as my 5AM workout wrapped up at the gym in Los Angeles. I finished the errand of reracking equipment by stripping four 45-pound plates off the barbell and carrying them back to the rack. When you abandon your weights on the floor, you compromise the physical standards that protect your consistency outside the gym.

Carrying heavy plates under load engages forearm flexor recruitment, activates dynamic core bracing, and forces spinal stabilization through unilateral micro-adjustments.

Be honest: do you rerack your plates after heavy sets, or do you leave them on the bar? 👇

Have you ever dragged yourself out of bed on a Monday morning, felt your legs heavy from weekend exhaustion, and wondered if you should just skip your workout until next week?

I worked security shifts at CRSSD festival all weekend, so my body felt completely fried when my alarm went off in Los Angeles. I loaded 225 lbs onto the barbell for Romanian deadlifts at the gym and locked in my full 5AM leg day. I finished the workout and walked outside ready to conquer Monday before clocking into my 9-to-5 corporate job. When your corporate work demands full energy, skipping Monday morning sets the stage for a six-day slump.

Early-morning multi-joint resistance training accelerates the clearance of adenosine and triggers dopamine release to eliminate sleep inertia before a sedentary work shift.

Be honest: do you conquer your Monday morning workout, or does the weekend exhaustion usually win? 👇

Ever tried learning an accent and felt ridiculous saying the same word 50 different ways? 😂🎭
Jasmine Amoh says one of the keys to mastering a dialect is paying attention to the VOWELS. Study the nuances, listen closely, mimic the sounds, and don’t be afraid to practice out loud!
That willingness to sound silly is part of learning your craft. 🎤
I loved sharing the screen with Jasmine as she played Lulu in Something Good Going On — our award-winning film that’s passed 60K YouTube views! 🎬🙌 And getting to sit down with her on The Patty Show made this connection even more special.
Watch the full episode for more of Jasmine’s journey through acting, caregiving, and finding her way in the arts. 🎙️

Have you ever worked 14 hours on concrete, felt your lower back throb from exhaustion, and wondered if you would have to tap out before the night even started?

I woke up at 4:30 AM to work access control and verify credentials at CRSSD festival down at Waterfront Park in San Diego. I logged over 25,000 steps across a 14 hour shift on concrete before my brother Anthony told me to go have fun for Latch. That push landed me right on stage with Disclosure and Chris Lake to close out the night. When you spend 14 straight hours on your feet, your physical stamina determines whether you crash early or have the energy left to live your life.

Consistent zone 2 aerobic conditioning expands mitochondrial density and capillary networks in slow-twitch muscle fibers, which increases metabolic efficiency and sustains physical output during prolonged upright exertion without inducing central nervous system exhaustion.

Be honest: do you still have energy after a long workday, or do you crash the second you sit on the couch? 👇

Cody doesn’t care that it’s 4:30 AM or pitch black outside, he’s just happy to get his steps in before the world wakes up.

Most people struggle with consistency because they wait until 6 PM when their brain is fried and work drained all their energy. If you can bank just 15 to 20 minutes of walking before your day starts, you don’t have to negotiate with yourself later. You already won the morning.

Be honest: do you get your steps in early, or do you try to find energy after 6PM? 👇

Have you ever pushed through heavy resistance across the floor, felt your legs lock up, and wondered if your best days were behind you?

I stacked three 5-lb plates on top of a plyo box in a Mickey Mouse pattern out on the turf at the gym during our 5AM session. I was prepping Emily’s conditioning finisher, the part of the session built to test what she had left. She is a former athlete and a mom to a tween daughter, so between managing her family schedule and getting back into lifting, her morning training cannot afford junk volume. When you are rebuilding real athletic power on limited sleep, you do not waste a single rep on conditioning that breaks down your joints.

Horizontal friction-resisted loaded pushes drive maximal motor unit recruitment across the quadriceps and hip extensors without eccentric breakdown, elevating cardiovascular output while sparing connective tissue from excessive muscular damage.

Be honest: would you rather push a loaded box across the turf or run sprints on a treadmill? 👇

If you are a busy professional looking to stay consistent with your training and rebuild real athletic strength:
