Plyometrics applies to any exercise or activity that is short, fast and explosive, allowing you to generate maximum force in the muscle in the shortest period of time, with the goal of increasing power which is a combination of speed and strength.

Plyometric exercises require you to push yourself to your maximum effort with quick bursts of energy. The intense exertion during these movements make them a great way to speed up your metabolism and encourage fat loss, while also helping improve athleticism, speed, strength and power!

🔥Functional exercises with resistance bands are known for helping to prevent injuries, create greater muscle toned and growth, improve active flexibility and engage better performance for athletes.

Our bodies are designed to move in all plains of motion. That’s why it’s important to incorporate exercises with lateral resistance, stability and rotation into our strength routine.

🔥There are people who believe that doing hundreds abdominals will help them to get rid of the belly fat and there are people who never do abdominals because they are “made in the kitchen” or because you “engaged your core” with many other exercises.

👉🏼I respect both perceptions, but I don’t fully agree with either of them.

Of course, proper nutrition is the biggest part of having a flat stomach, but there are other factors as well like strength training, proper cardio, recovery, balanced hormones, supplementation and genetics.

🔥THE RIGHT NUTRITION IS NEVER STARVATION. The ideal nutrition is based on a balanced and consisten combination of macronutrients (Protein, good carbs, essential fats) that nourish our body, divided in 5/6 meals per day.

🔥STRENGTH TRAINING TO MASTER OUR METABOLISM AND DEVELOP MUSCLE MASS. I can never say this enough. In this case, I have treated abdominal muscles like any other muscle of our body and train them as they deserve. I understand that we engaged the core during most other exercises, but if we engaged the triceps during chest exercises, does that means we don’t have to work or isolate the triceps?

🔥PROPER CARDIO. Cardio is essential to increase fat burning, but only if we do it at the right time and we manage our heart rate to stay in the “Fat burning zone”.

🔥RECOVER, SUPPLEMENTATION AND BALANCED HORMONES. Stress, lack of sleep, lack of micronutrients and unbalanced hormones are some of the biggest reasons we keep fat around the belly area. But there is hope and natural, healthy solutions.

🔥This video is dedicated to all girls who have the courage to embrace their unique beauty, intelligence, strength 𝙖𝙣𝙙 sweetness…

My princesses, please don’t be afraid to explore and share all of them because regardless of what the “norm” is,

💥they 𝙘𝙖𝙣 go together;

It’s rare and people don’t like it because it triggers insecurities, faiths, and standards, but that’s why it’s so special.

Let’s put it simply:

We can’t make everyone happy, but we 𝙘𝙖𝙣 make ourselves happy and that’s an advantage for this world because a genuinely happy person can influence positivity more than we could imagine.

My example: “@shakira💃🏽”

Well of course! She is amazing! She is talented, sexy, cheerful, beautiful, and real.

🔥She 𝙖𝙡𝙨𝙤 speaks 5 languages, plays 4 instruments, wrote lyrics of hundreds of songs, and she disguised herself as a boy to attend a university in Los Angeles. Did you know that?

What I mean is that @shakira didn’t stop to explore all her talents thinking about who would shame her, who would criticize her, or who would see her only as “My hips don’t lie”,

because 𝙨𝙝𝙚 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙨𝙝𝙚 𝙞𝙨 and she doesn’t need to prove it, she just share her talents with the universe hoping in her heart that it is for the good.

Do 99% of people see her only because of her sexy hips? yes and that’s ok 🤷🏻‍♀️

👉🏼Did Shakira stop her awesomeness just because people couldn’t see her for what she really is? Noooo, because

💥she is wise enough to understand that what people “think” of her is neither her business nor her problem.

🔥In conclusion my beautiful ladies, do not be afraid to be the “complete package”,

do not be afraid to take care of yourself or be independent, do not be afraid to study, or model or cook or travel or whatever vibrates 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙮𝙤𝙪 and inspire 𝙮𝙤𝙪 for the good.

🔥My wish is to be part of a tribe of women who support each other instead of tearing up one and other…

👉🏼embracing our own beauty and feminine energy,
👉🏼accepting our strength without losing our nurturing,
👉🏼recognizing our capacity to build a better society, not alone or against, but teaming up with our men,
and
👉🏼loving ourselves us much as we are willing to love others …

The world needs us my beautiful ladies!!!
with open hearts and open arms, united, strong and happy ...

But I understand that change can only start with me and I am still a work in progress… 💪🏽🌼

🔥Back muscles play a very important role in our physical health.

They are essential for moving, standing up straight and breathe.

They also stabilize our spine and torso.

Back muscle injuries are very common caused by lack of muscle, sedentary lifestyle, inappropriate posture, genetics, among others.

There are ways of training to keep a strong and safe back. I can help you with that 💪🏽
