It was a delight for me to take part in the 2022 Community Impact Report organized by CareMax, Inc. Carolina and her team of leaders gave a comprehensive presentation of the company's accomplishments and upcoming projects, highlighting the positive impact CareMax has made on people's lives. We were also privileged to hear from community leaders, @dr.anthony_cruz President, MDC Kendall Campus, and @liliam.m.lopez Pres. & CEO, @sflhcc who shared their valuable perspectives on the significance of community involvement as collaborators with CareMax.

Kudos to @caroveira and the @caremaxwithheart team for sharing your achievements with the community! 💙💚

It was great connecting with buisness professionals and leaders from the community!

WE embrace equity. WE embrace equality. WE embrace women supporting women, and today, WE embrace Patty Vila, Founder & President of @pattyvilamedia. ✊

A world traveler. A storyteller. An entrepreneur and an ambitious business woman that made a name for herself. She’s visited 38 countries, worked with the world’s top leading women in business, and has even lived in Havana, Cuba doing what she does best: Covering the news and telling the world the truth of today.

Patty’s journey began here in Miami, FL working at @CNN as the Producer & Bureau Manager, where she traveled the world to cover the most fascinating stories seen today. While she was there, she founded the CNN Havana Bureau, which covers the breaking news for Cuba and its surrounding region. Being a Cuban-American herself, this quickly became her passion project. She took a leap of faith and decided to move to La Habana and cover the cold truth news of her homeland for nearly four years.

“Living in Cuba was one of the highlights of my life. I made great friends and was able to meet my family that stayed behind.” - Patty Vila

Her fearless attitude over the years led her to win the Edward R. Murrow Award for her coverage on Elian Gonzalez, the Cuban national who set off an international custody battle when he was found floating alone in the Florida straits back in 1999.

Covering some of the most noteworthy news stories in the nation, Patty also had the privilege of working alongside @Oprah Winfrey as a Freelance Producer, while also freelancing for @NBCNews with Tom Brokaw. She later tells us that after the tragedy of 9/11, she flew all the way to Pakistan to cover the news from there. Her bravery and commitment in telling the world the truth as it is, inspires us to continue doing what WE do. WE are honored to work hand in hand with one of the top leading women in business, and today, WE celebrate HER. Keep it up, Patty. WE know there is so much more you'll accomplish! 🧡🌟🇨🇺 #WEStaffing #EmbraceEquity #InternationalWomensDay #WomensDay #IWD

WE celebrated a special moment in time ✨ Our team had the privilege of attending the @sflhcc’s Havana in The 50's Gala, where dedicated Hispanic business owners came together in light of their hard-work, accomplishments and continued growth over the years.

Since its inception 25 years ago, The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has been recognized as one of the most influential Hispanic chambers in the country and is one of the top leading Hispanic business organizations in Florida.

Through its Small Business Committee, the SFLHCC has provided a voice for Hispanic business owners that have dedicated their lives to building careers from the bottom up, offering the opportunity to establish a name for themselves within the community.

WE are so grateful to have been a part of this special evening, celebrating with @EmilioEstefanJR himself, a true Cuban American inspiration. A special thank you to @Liliam.M.Lopez, Award-winning CEO, President and Founder of the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Thank you for opening the doors and allowing our community to pursue the ~ Hispanic ~ American Dream. 🧡 #WEStaffing #HavansInThe50s #SouthFloridaHispanicChamber
