Words can't properly capture how we feel about this last one! We had so many sign ups we couldn't fit them all in this recap!! Felt like family in the building and like the city really showed us love! @blxckkxng3rd put on an asbolute clinic and Johnny Dujour brought the vibes for the cypher! #joefavoritechef came correct with the wings, alfredo, and cheesecake!! We are so grateful for all of you! See you in September!!! As always, major shout out to @soundspace.music #openmic #openmicnight #openmicindy #naptown #indy #indiehiphop #culture #culture #community #hiphop #hiphopculture

This is one of my favorite family traditions. Every year for the past 20 years, we cut off the base of our Christmas tree and make an ornament from it. We ceremoniously place the new ornament every year on Christmas Eve. I love to look and think back to every year we've been together as a family and what each year has brought. It's something that just makes the holiday so special.

@xlfilmfestival owes us absolutely nothing. Thank you so much to allow our tribe to be a part of such a fulfilling and empowering experience! @_camfuk3nny and I representing as finalists in this year’s 2023 festival has helped us take a huge leap in our careers as writers and directors. We look forward to participating in the #XLeratorProgram with our fellow cohort members — the amazing folks on slide 3! #Almost30 was screened and represented by @shandreafunnye — our Director & Writer of the series — and @thee.nakiawhite — our Executive Producer! My wife @faithocean and I got to meet the directors and actors from one of our favorite shows #SouthSide and she then morphed into my agent 😅 not to mention being able to witness the legend @iamroberttownsend inspire an entire room of people (even the other industry professionals in attendance). I got to witness generations of amazing storytellers be their most authentic and genuine selves, and I truly connected with that the more than anything. Huge thank you to @troyopryor and congratulations on such a revolutionary event. My perspective has shifted, my spirit feels invigorated, and my heart is fully open; ready to accept all blessings God has in store for me and my people. Just very grateful for it all. Let’s keep pushing forward! More updates on the way 👍🏽
