If you were a Butlin’s Redcoat in the early 2000s, you’ll understand EVERY SINGLE ONE of these! 😂❤️

Bognor & Minehead, you were an absolute experience!

The things we did, the things we got away with, the hangovers, the chaos and the friendships that have lasted over 20 years.

Some of the best years of my life, without a doubt. And I wouldn’t change a single bloody thing!

Once a Redcoat, always a Redcoat. ❤️

Now, where are all my fellow ex-Redcoats? What have I missed? Because I KNOW there’s more! 😂👇🏼

Mae Bethan Richards @bethirich yn fam, yn wraig, yn gynhyrchydd radio ac yn gantores. Mae hi hefyd yn ddall.
(Scroll for English)
Yn y podlediad 'Meddwl yn Wahanol' ar @bbcsounds, mae Bethan yn sgwrsio gyda tri o bobol sydd, fel hithau, yn anabl.
Dyma’r ail gyfres lle bydd Bethan yn sgwrsio gyda @paul_stumpy Davies, Hollie Crooks a Gwennan Young sydd hefyd yn ddall.
Meddai Bethan: “Dyma straeon gafaelgar, emosiynol ac amrwd, sydd yn dathlu buddugoliaethau bywyd ac yn herio’r delweddau o ‘anabledd’.
“Mae'n gyfres llawn hwyl, gyda ambell ddeigryn bach. Straeon pobol, negeseuon pwysig, rhannu profiadau, a dysgu o’n gilydd.”
Mae'r podlediad hwn yn Gymraeg ond mae trawsgrifiad llawn ar gael.
Dyma glip o’r sgwrs gyda Gwennan i roi blâs ar y cynnwys.
Mae sgyrsiau gyda tri pherson arall o’r gyfres gyntaf hefyd ar gael ar BBC Sounds. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0p1z2gv
----------------------------------------
Bethan Richards is a mother, a wife, a radio producer, and a singer. She is also blind.
In the podcast 'Meddwl yn Wahanol' (Thinking Differently) on BBC Sounds Bethan chats with three people who, like her, are disabled.
This is the second series, in which Bethan chats with Paul Davies, Hollie Crooks, and Gwennan Young, who is also blind.
Bethan says: “These are gripping, emotional, and raw stories that celebrate life’s victories and challenge perceptions of ‘disability’.
“It’s a fun-filled series, with the odd tear or two. People’s stories, important messages, sharing experiences, and learning from one another.”
This podcast is in Cymraeg, but a full transcript is available.
Here is a clip from the conversation with Gwennan to give you a taste of the content.
Conversations with three other people from the first series are also available on BBC Sounds.

The actor one. 🎭 A little more serious… just for a change. 😉

🙌 & 📷 @kianswainston

Probably the most ‘me’ of the lot. 😂 Big smile. Big personality. One hand doing absolutely nothing to stop me. 😜

👕 @zaraman

Apparently I needed more colour in my life. 💛

And one for the ‘I’m actually quite normal’ folder. 😂 Although… let’s not get carried away.

“Yma o Hyd!” Standing next people at Brighton Pride, then realise each one of you’re all Welsh!!! 🏳️‍🌈 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 😆

Anhygoel!!! None of us had planned it. We weren’t there together. We had just somehow found each other in the middle of Brighton Pride.

It made me think about how powerful that feeling of belonging can be — how sometimes you can feel connected to people you’ve never met simply because you share a part of who you are.

Pride has a way of bringing people together. And this weekend, it reminded me that sometimes… you just find your people. 🏳️‍🌈 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

🌈 Brighton Pride was an absolute blast!

Sometimes the best days are the ones where you simply go with the flow. I had an amazing time, met some fantastic people, enjoyed the face painting, had a good dance, and made some brilliant memories along the way.

You never know who you're going to meet or where the day will take you, and that's exactly why I love saying yes to new experiences.

Here's a little montage from an unforgettable day. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed living it! 🥳💛
