What an incredible night at the Josie Music Awards! Having Teacup Tequila by Brei Carter nominated was such an amazing honor and a moment I’ll never forget.
From reconnecting with good friends to making wonderful new ones, the entire evening was filled with love, encouragement and unforgettable memories. The uplifting performances by the legendary Vince Gill, Billy Dean and award-winning producer Kent Wells made the night even more special.

This journey has not always been easy—there were roads that broke my heart, seasons that tested my faith, and silent battles I fought while still finding the strength to smile. There were nights when the dream felt impossibly far away, but God’s grace met me in every tear, carried me through every disappointment, and reminded me that His grace is always sufficient.

I would not be standing in this moment without Him, and I would not have made it this far without every person who prayed for me, believed in me, supported my music, and refused to let me give up on myself. To even be considered for a Grammy nomination is an honor that reaches far beyond recognition—it is proof that the pain had purpose, the waiting was not wasted, and the dream God placed in my heart was never too big.

My heart is overwhelmed because I can still feel the ache of every closed door while experiencing the joy of watching one of my greatest prayers begin to unfold. So, through tears of gratitude, I humbly say thank you—this moment belongs to God, to every one of you, and to the little girl inside me who dared to believe:
