Beijo do tio Gusta. #family #familia #people #peoplephotography

After we had had breakfast and driven a bit further we stopped again, to take a look and take pictures of this absolutly breathtaking scenery... 😍 Volcano Licancabur, Chile.

In San Pedro de Atacama I stayed at „Hostal Mamatierra“. I was very glad when I arrived there and took a shower right away 🛁
While I was chilling on my bed, one of my roommates came back from a tour. His name was Bruno and he was from Brasil. As we were both a little bit hungry we decided to go to the centre of San Pedro to meet friends of him and to have lunch together.
The weather was really nice and I was totally impressed about the small city because it was so different than other cities. The streets weren‘t made of asphalt, but of a kind of light dirt and sand. There were also a few stray dogs. San Pedro didn’t felt like a dirty city, but just kept simple. 🥰 The houses were really cute as well, never consisting of more than one ground floor.
After looking at a few restaurants and their menus we decided for a small one with a really flexible meal in which you could choose your main and your side dish. Drinks were included too 😊 It was nice to sit there and eat and chat with eachother.
When we came back we met another roommate: Paula from Brasil as well 🇧🇷 She arrived at the same day as me, and her luggage didn't make it straight to her after the flight either 😅 We got along very well, and after talking a little bit about the tours that are offered, we decided to go together to one to Volcano Licancabur and the Salar de Tara.
We booked it the next day, and the tour was on the day after... So on Saturday early in the morning we got picked up. We were a group of about 8 people (I don‘t know anymore hehe 😬), so we drove in a small bus. The tourguide (on the left side of the picture) was really nice, spoke english and spanish and told us about our plan for the day during the first minutes of our drive.
When we were already almost in the middle of nowhere, we stopped to have breakfast. That was amazing, we had coffee and tea and juice, fresh scrambled eggs, sausage, cheese, butter and bread. A delicious breakfast with a view to the volcano 😍
