TWO MORE FOR G(L)ORY DAYS! 🔪🏆🏆 What a hell of a day in Wilmington, North Carolina! G(L)ORY DAYS just took home the Best of Block Audience Choice Award and the Southern Cut Award at The First Cut Film Festival! This one was particularly special because I got to experience it alongside our producers, Kale Murphy and Kari Iverson of 19 Pictures. Making a film is one thing, but getting to sit in a theater with the people who helped bring it to life and watch an audience laugh, react, and connect with something we created together is pretty incredible. From the long days on set, to watching Hulk & Turtleneck find their way onto screens around the country, it’s moments like these that make the whole journey worth it. Huge thank you to The First Cut Film Festival for welcoming us, giving our film the honor of opening the festival, and putting together such a great event. And an even bigger thank you to everyone who came out, packed the room, watched, and voted for our film! Proud of this team and everything we’ve accomplished together. Not bad for a couple of old slashers! 🔪🩸 #GloryDaysFilm #TheFirstCutFilmFestival #AudienceChoiceAward #IndieFilm #HorrorComedy

Turns out retired Slashers still have an audience. 🔪 Apparently people are digging our weird little Horror film. It’s been pretty damn cool watching G(L)ORY DAYS make its way through the festival circuit and seeing people connect with the film the way we hoped they would. We set out to make something that felt like an old-school slasher, but with characters you actually wanted to spend time with — bloody, funny, a little fucked up, and hopefully with some heart underneath it all. Very grateful for the love the film has been getting along the way. Swipe through for some of the nice things people have said about us. 👉 P.S. Playing @houstonhorrorfilmfest & @smodcastle.filmfest today!! Nominated for Best Short & Best Scream 😱 #GloryDaysFilm #HorrorComedy #IndieHorror #Slasher #HorrorMovies @echocellcollective

SWIPE RIGHT to read the full Review on our Award Winning Horror-Comedy Short Film G(L)ORY DAYS !! Repost from @moviefestuk give them a look, like & follow! Show some love on their original post too if you have 5 seconds :) • G(l)ory Days | Genre: Horror/Comedy | Runtime: 27 minutes What’s harder to survive: an unstoppable serial killer, or aching joints? 👴🪓 In “G(l)ory Days,” two over-the-hill slashers trade their rocking chairs for a bloody bet to see who can take out a pair of clueless influencers first. Think Roald Dahl’s The Twits but with way more arterial spray. 🩸🚣‍♂️ It’s a hilarious, gore-soaked slapstick horror that proves these old monsters still have a few good hacks left in ‘em! 😉🍿 #horror #slasher #whattowatch #shortfilmreview #shortfilm

So much can happen in a year, and it’s easy to forget what you’ve done and what you’ve accomplished if you don’t slow down for a moment to reflect and appreciate the life you have. Although “work” in the film business was slow, I kept myself busy, explored with the love of my life, created my own projects, helped my friends with theirs, got married and so much more! What a year it was after all, I’m so thankful for it all and for the memories! I’m a little sick and under the weather today, but here’s to 38. I’ve got a feeling this is going to be a good year ;)
