Boom Boom (Let’s Go Back To My Room) - PAUL LEKAKIS 👑

Boom Boom (Let’s Go Back to My Room) by Paul Lekakis was released on May 5, 1987, and quickly became a global dancefloor anthem. The track achieved major chart success, hitting No.1 in Australia, No.4 in the UK, and reaching the Top 50 on the US Billboard Hot 100. With its infectious Hi-NRG beat and catchy hook, it dominated clubs worldwide and became one of the defining tracks of late ’80s dance culture, maintaining a strong presence in retro playlists and DJ sets decades later.

Paul Lekakis is an American singer, actor, and model who rose to fame during the 1980s club scene. Known for his striking look and energetic performance style, he became a prominent figure in the Hi-NRG and dance-pop movement. While “Boom Boom (Let’s Go Back to My Room)” remains his signature hit, his influence endures as part of the vibrant underground club culture of the era, especially within LGBT dance communities where the track became an iconic anthem.

How’s about coming back to my room for a little boom boom?

If not my room, then at least come to MAURICE tomorrow. You’re not intimidated by a little rain. It is harvest season after all.

Yes, Virginia, there is a coat check for your umbrellas and hot music to warm you right up, courtesy of @djmateosegade
