I loved this dance from int finals at ASC ahhh!!! It had such a nice flow to it. Major shout out to Paul for being an amazing lead 🗣️ This was my first intermediate final and I was so nervous but he made it so easy to just relax and do my dance / have fun :) also we managed to get 1st place in a super stacked division which is still blowing my mind lol

This time last year, Paul and I met at a country swing comp, I didn't even do west coast swing at that point in time but WOW have things changed a bit 😂

I have never in my LIFE laughed or created more in competition dances than what I did for this pairing and I hope you all enjoy Paul's reactions to our song pull (DREAM SONG PULL) as much as we did. This is not the last time I will create with this dear friend of mine, love you dude! ✨

✨Raleigh Afterglow 2026✨
You have my entire heart.
@karis.mccann and I came together and wanted to create a space where community was the center of the event. A place that recognized semi- local community leaders, broadcasted local venue spots, and highlighted the joy of dance. We thought hard, spent many hours together, and relied on the knowledge and advice of our friends and coaches for 3 months straight.
I am so blessed to have learned so much within myself, and within dance, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to continue to learn more.
Karis, we did it. I couldn’t have done any of this without you, you have been a rock in this entire event and kept such a cool head on your shoulders the whole time. You have turned into someone who can finish my thoughts before me and I cannot be more appreciative of our business partnership in this and I’m so excited to see what’s next for us!
To every staff member, volunteer, and venue staff member I can’t thank you enough for your eagerness to step up and willingness to help. You created some of the most out of the box solutions, kept things running smooth, and never failed to ask a stranger if they needed anything. Your generosity will never go unnoticed, we could not have pulled off this event successfully without you.
And to every judge, thank you. Thank you for taking a chance on a new competition, for your distance traveled, every piece of advice you created, and for bringing the most genuine joy I’ve seen into our community of Raleigh. I have the upmost respect for every hard decision made easier, every reminder to take a deep breath, and for making it possible for us to be able to enjoy this day.

We are excited to announce that our Staff Spotlight, aka the “Not-So-Pro Show”, will be brought to you all to support @endoftourrecovery ✨

“End of Tour Recovery Workshop is a tax exempt 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization that empowers veterans and first responders—especially those in recovery from substance use or dealing with mental health challenges—through woodworking. Founded in 2025, our mission is to support both recovery and reintegration through meaningful hands-on work.“

We will be taking donations where every contributor is entered to win a chance to judge our staff in either the line dance OR country swing staff spotlight!
