My inspiration for Danza Del Dragon Barbudo, my granddaughter Ava's pet Bearded Dragon, Pepperjack, this time with as excerpt from the track on our album Rio Grande Reveries! Check out the whole tune to hear the solos and dance section!
As we looked face to face, a tune reflecting the traits of these creatures started composing in my brain. The guitar part I thought would challenge Ryan (Murphey), but he basically just laid it right down, then told me later that he gave it to guitar students to learn. Nice compliment!

Our album is now being played on over 30 jazz radio stations nationwide and tunes from the album are now playlisted by: "Midnight Jazz Bar" by Don's Tunes, "HipHop Soul Jazz" by Alias-Molombo, "BerlinOnAir", "Jazz Lounge Music", by Kellerman Music and "Jazzish", by Audio Alchemist.
Radio stations and Playlister Programs are adding weekly.
Thank you all who are playing our music!
