The @vfco_chamber.orchestra had such a fantastic time back in the Japan these past 10 days. It doesn’t get much better than Beethoven’s first two piano concertos and symphonies every night with this group, our dear Gábor, the unbelievable @maofujita_piano and my dear stand mate @marenreck. Thank you so much to all of our wonderful Japanese audiences who welcomed us so generously all over this amazing country, we can’t wait to come back soon!

It was an incredible pleasure to return to Paris this week with the @orchestredeparis. What an unforgettable week performing Mahler 1 three times with Klaus Mäkelä and Nobu’s extraordinary Grieg Concerto. So great to see so many old friends and make so many new ones.
Merci à tous, quel plaisir de jouer avec vous❤️🙏🇫🇷😘

Swipe to hear the live broadcast of the first night on @francemusique. I even brought @threlkeld.chris’s amazing 10th bass all the way to France for the occasion.

Ce morceau parle de l’espoir de la venue d’un sauveur qui se fait désespérément attendre. En attendant, les gens restent pauvres, les inégalités se creusent…

What a great week for the @vfco_ . We had a fantastic time in France and California at the @festivalpaques in Aix-en-Provence and then Stanford University. It was very special to get to perform in both places in one week with our dear Gábor and we were so grateful to receive such Incredibly warm receptions from the French and American audiences. Merci @festivalpaques and thanks @stanfordlive for having us!! 🙏Huge thanks to our amazing team putting everything together and running it so smoothly, Martin Engstrom, @herve.boissiere, @blythetehengstroem, @fullerbass, Sam Goldscheider, @camillecoisne, @paulwinling and @mattiabornati! I was so spoiled getting to share a stand with two of my favorite people, bass players and stand parters from the upper Midwest @marenreck and my @metorchestra brother @dkrekeler . ❤️🙏🇫🇷🇺🇸
