🚨 ZURI WOULD LIKE A WORD. 🚨

She put on her wings.
She went out in public.
She smelled the flowers.
She posed.
She even gave us the dramatic “staring into the distance thinking about my future” shot.

And somehow… SHE IS STILL SINGLE.

At this point, she’s wondering what more a girl has to do around here. 🐶

Zuri is potty trained, good with dogs, good with kids, and has a personality approximately 47 times larger than her body.

She’s sweet. She’s funny. She has opinions. And apparently she’s a butterfly now, so there’s really nothing left for us to work on.

Someone adopt Zuri before she grows another set of wings and flies off to find her own family. 🦋

Interested in Zuri? Send Canine Healing Project a message. Let’s get this girl HOME.

‼️ ADOPTED ‼️

🐾 Meet Callie! 🐾

This sweet little girl is just 6 weeks old and already has the biggest personality! 🤍 Callie is playful, loving, and would do amazing in a home with another kitten to keep her company.

She absolutely loves both dogs and cats, she’s just a little too enthusiastic for our resident cats!

Callie is ready to find a family where she can grow, play, and be loved furever. 🏡

🐾 Meet Sasha! 🐾

This sweet girl is 10 months old and ready to find her forever home! 🤍 Sasha is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated, so she’s all set to start her next chapter.

She gets along great with dogs, but she isn’t a big fan of most cats. She can thrive as an indoor/outdoor kitty or a barn cat, as long as she has a loving family to call her own.

Sasha has so much love to give, now she just needs someone to give it to. 🏡

Meet Marlin ❤️

Marlin is a 10-year-old long-haired Chihuahua who just joined the Canine Healing Project, and we’re so happy we get the chance to help him.

Right now, Marlin needs somewhere to land.

We are looking for a foster or, even better, his forever home.

He’s 10 years old. He deserves a soft place to sleep, someone to love on him, and a home where he can settle in and feel safe again.

If you can foster Marlin or think you may be his forever person, send us a direct message here and put “MARLIN” in your message. We’ll get back to you with the next steps. Even a temporary foster would make a huge difference for him right now.

Please share him, too. The right foster or forever home for Marlin could be one share away. ❤️

Zuri is ready for her person. ❤️

She’s a 4-year-old Lab who is currently working on her basic skills, and she has the sweetest temperament. She loves people, is eager to learn, and we think she has all the potential to make an incredible therapy dog.

Now she just needs the most important part — a home of her own.

If you’ve been looking for a loving, smart girl to add to your family, Zuri may be the one. Reach out to Canine Healing Project to learn more or set up a time to meet her.

Meet Shadow, our newest Canine Healing Project pup!

Shadow is a senior Lab who was surrendered through no fault of his own. He is as sweet as can be and loves people, children, and other dogs. He knows his basic commands, walks great on a leash, and is both house-trained and crate-trained.

Shadow has already completed his CHP training assessment, and we believe he has the temperament to make a wonderful therapy dog. His next stop is the vet for a full wellness check.

Shadow will soon be available for adoption. If you’re interested in learning more about him, please reach out!

Meet Harold, the newest member of CHP❤️

Today was supposed to be Harold’s last day. This 10-year-old senior Lab mix was found as a stray and scheduled to be euthanized, but thanks to the wonderful people who stepped up to help, we were able to get him safely to CHP.

Although Harold was found alone, it’s clear he had a family at some point. He completed his training assessment today and showed us the sweetest temperament—and he already knows some basic commands.

Tonight, Harold is safe with a foster. Tomorrow, he will visit the vet so we can learn more about his medical needs and begin preparing him for his next chapter.

If you’re interested in Harold, please send us a message. Donations toward his upcoming medical care would also mean so much.

Welcome to CHP, Harold. You’re safe now.
