bday giveaway 🎉 The Dog Lover's Bucket List @paws.andreflect & @hyoungwrites

I think you may have realized how important River was, and still is, to me. She was my world and more. I worked and trained with her a lot. She was a very fearful girl, but she was also so very smart, loving, quirky, very (subtly) communicative, for my anyway.

All the work we did, along with lots of play, building trust, existing and enjoying each other's company paid off. Mostly because of the relationship we had. It was like no other and it was such a beautiful thing 🧡

I believe our relationships with our four-legged friends can be such a beautiful thing. Especially if you put some work into it, while also listening to them.

My friend, Haley, and I have birthdays a week apart, so I wanted to share her book with you!

I've always loved how she wrote about and shared her relationship with her dog, Scout, and how it's changed over the years. A genuine and kind-hearted person with a knack for writing. So much so that she's a published author! (Congrats again!!! 🎉❤️)

To celebrate our birthdays, I'd like to give away a copy of her book. It has a lot of fun activities that you can do with your dog, along with space to paws and reflect (hehe) to be introspective a bit to think about and be intentional in your relationship and activities with your beloved dog. Also some other fun things in there and resources.

It's also a great journal space to note important and fun memories you've shared. Something I wish I had during my time with Riv. I'm sure Juni will be able to fill it up in no time, we've been up to a lot.

The details ✨
All you have to do to enter is try to guess what breed(s) Juniper is. As breeds can help with what she may find biologically fulfilling and enriching. I've just sent in her @embarkvet test, so it'll be a couple weeks for the results.

Winner gets a copy of Haley's book: The Dog Lover's Bucket List! ✨😍

Just guess what you think she's a mix of! That's it-for funsies.

Feel free to share, tag, etc. Not required. Not sponsored by meta, etc. Winner outside Canada will have to pay for shipping.

Open July 5 (my bday) to July 10 (Haley's bday)

Good luck, friends ✨
