From making beats across multiple genres to finding his lane in House & Garage.

Caught up with @paydrouk for my debut HOUSEWORK show on @subtleradio to talk about the journey, trusting your instincts and what led him to focus on the music he’s making today.

Have you always stuck to one genre, or did you find your sound over time?

Can the best DJs balance playing for themselves and playing for the crowd? 🎧

Caught up with @paydrouk for my debut HOUSEWORK show on @subtleradio, where we talked about everything from reading a room to finding your own sound and why the best sets usually sit somewhere in between.

Should DJs play for themselves, play for the crowd, or is the answer somewhere in the middle?

Full conversation coming soon on YouTube.

HOUSEWORK // Episode 001 🎙️

After some away from radio, it felt like the right time to build something new with @subtleradio

HOUSEWORK is my monthly selection of the records I’ve been digging over the past few weeks— club heaters, exclusive promos, a few unreleased bits of my own and, occasionally, guest mixes and conversations with the people shaping the sound.

Episode 001 features an exclusive guest mix from @paydrouk, alongside some of the tracks that haven’t left my USB recently.

Swipe >>> for highlights, including the full tracklisting.

Which of these are you feeling the most?

Full show drops on @subtleradio this Thursday.
