Thank you to the Dallas Puccini Society for hosting our recital this weekend, and to everyone that came to support us!

And thank you to @paynesquared and @sm_operapianist for making Saturday's performance incredibly fun.

There's something really special about singing and acting with a close friend that adds an extra level of dimension to the performance. I believe we really pulled that off this weekend. Thank you @paynesquared <3

A big shout out to our wonderful musicians who help bring this amazing show to life! We have our live band which features a variety of instruments such as the piano, guitar, banjo, accordion, flute, and upright bass! Our featured student instrumentalists also play throughout the show in addition to portraying multiple characters! You still have THREE more chances to catch these talented musicians in "The Old Man and the Old Moon"! 📸: @karacavalca

Our blue grass musical, “The Old Man and the Old Moon”, opens in a little under 3 weeks! In addition to a harrowing story, the show also includes a live band, shadow puppetry, and eye catching technical elements! The cast and crew have been working tirelessly to bring this heartwarming tale to life for the audiences of Durango, so be sure to catch a performance (or two!) from March 27th-29th and April 2nd-4th! Tickets are available through the link in our bio, or free student tickets can be reserved at the door before the show.

Greetings! I'm excited to share that my talented friend @paynesquared and I are showcasing a recital of operatic scenes with the Puccini Society of Dallas in just a couple of weeks! We are calling this program ~○•S T A R C R O S S E D L O V E R S•○~ due to the fact that many of characters we've chosen to portray have love lives that end poorly.

It's wild to think that Malcolm and I have been friends for nearly 12 years, and this is our first time collaborating in this way. Malcolm is a multi-hyphenated performer of opera and musical theater, an amazing flute player, and music director.

I'm so excited to share this program with him on Saturday, January 24th at 3 pm, right here in Dallas!!

Message me for ticketing info!!

Finally, this is the only photo I have with Malcolm, and DOES IT NOT SLAY???!?!

Isolation: where you eat, sleep, and work.
A comfort you’ve come to know
Despite craving connection.
Ruminating on the past, as if you never belonged, but
How can you be too much and not enough at the same time?
So you retract to the liminal spaces
In the dark, guided by moonlight.

Sweeney Todd was SUCH a blast. I wish I’d remembered to post about it while it was actually happening 🤪
Being directed by @siennareally was such a gift, and I always love working with the amazing @orchconductor. Also kinda fun to brag that I made it through this show with walking pneumonia—do I get to add that to my résumé? Who knows lol.
It was such a dream getting to step back into this incredible music and story in a new role, and one that I’d been yearning after for several years! I am so grateful for the friends I got to make and perform with to bring the story to life :)

The Blacker the Berry…👀

Thank you to the amazing cast and crew who I now consider family, and most importantly thank you @randalwest6 and my OG college mama @sharkness135 for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to play a character that I’ve dreamt of playing since I was 7 years old. I’m forever grateful.
