SENIOR RECOGNITION!!!

#2 : Base/Tumbler : Payten Campos ✨ Thank you for every moment, every sacrifice, and every piece of your heart you gave to TLU A&T. You’ve led the team this year in a way that inspired everyone around you, and your impact will stay with this program long after you’re gone. Saying you’ll be missed doesn’t even begin to cover it. We love you, we’re so proud of you, and we can’t wait to see where life takes you next. Happy Senior Night 🤍

“Dear TLU Acrobatics & Tumbling,
Looking back, joining this program was one of the most unexpected turns my life has taken. It was never something i planned out, chased after, or even pictured for myself, but somehow it ended up becoming one of the most meaningful parts of my college experience. Even in just two years, this team brought something back into my life that I didn’t realize how much I missed, the excitement, the passion, and the connection that comes from being surrounded by people all working toward the same thing. The moment I stepped into that first open gym, something just clicked. I walked out knowing this was something I wanted to be a part of. Since then, these past two years have given me friendships, memories, and experiences that I truly can’t put into words. From the highest highs to the toughest challenges, every practice, every win, every loss, and everything in between has shaped me in ways I’ll carry with me long after this chapter ends. I always find myself wishing Inwould’ve found TLU just a little sooner, just so I could have experienced this program and these people for a little bit longer. This program gave me more than just a sport, it gave me memories, growth, and a group of people that made these years something I’ll never forget. I’m forever grateful to be part of TLU Acrobatics & Tumbling.”

Dear acrobatics & tumbling,
I have pushed off making this post because I feel like there’s no way I can put into words what this sport and this place means to me. One year with this program has given me more than just my last year of a&t, it gave me a family and a legacy that I’m endlessly proud to be a part of.

Leaving TLU acro feels like leaving a piece of my heart behind. It’s scary and it hurts more than I could’ve imagined. No matter where life takes me, I will carry this experience and this family with me always.

Looking at where I was before this year, I would’ve never imagined the plans God had for me. The way He continues to transform my heart is nothing but miraculous. He never fails to amaze me time and time again, and ik He’ll continue to amaze me in the future (maybe seeing acro again🤷‍♀️).

I don’t want to say goodbye bc how do I say goodbye to something like this. Thank you @tluacrotumb for the unforgettable love and memories. Thank you Coach Cam for showing me why I fell in love w this sport again. Thank you @thencata for giving me something I’ll never let go of. Thank you allstar cheerleading for raising me and giving me the best opportunities possible. Thank you God for everything.

I could not be more proud to end my athletic career with TLU across my chest. How lucky I am that God gave me a team/coaches that had me falling in love with this sport even more and made saying goodbye SO hard. The most bittersweet ending. I will always be a Dog at heart.

acrobatics & tumbling, I will love you forever ‘n ever.
