🎓❤️ Graduation season is coming to an end.

@payton_0928 is one of the many outstanding members of the Class of 2026 that I’ve had the privilege of covering.

Some people have a gift that immediately captures your attention. Payton is one of those people.

Whether she was performing on stage or singing her heart out, Payton’s incredible voice, infectious personality, and positive energy made every performance unforgettable. She has a unique ability to connect with an audience, and it’s easy to see why she has become such a standout performer at The Hill School.

One of my favorite moments was having the opportunity to interview Payton following her performance as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde. Her passion for the arts, humility, and genuine love for performing shined just as brightly off the stage as it did under the spotlight.

Throughout her time at Hill, Payton brought unforgettable characters to life, starring as Mrs. Johnstone in Blood Brothers, Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, Marmee in Little Women, Olive in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Sue in Carrie. She was also recognized with the Outstanding Soloist Award at the 2024 Roxbury Choir Invitational and earned The Hill School’s Most Improved in Theatre Award.

This fall, Payton will continue pursuing her dream at The Hartt School at the University of Hartford, where she will major in Acting.

Congratulations on an incredible high school career, Payton. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent with The Hill School community and allowing GMG to celebrate your journey. I have no doubt your passion, talent, and contagious energy will continue to light up every stage you step onto. Break a leg! 🎭🎶❤️
