*Long Post Alert* What began as a distraction from a heartbreak and life itself, has now become my full time job. With no intentions to ever have clients or take part in the cosmetology field, here I am a year and a half later branding myself at 17 years old. From initially using nails as an escape from the sadness, boredom, and responsibilities, I eventually unlocked my hidden talent and greatest passion. With the help of a few youtube videos along with tips and tricks from TikTok, on January 31st, 2021 I officially started my career as a nail tech. I owe a special thanks to my mom, @olivia_nicole_ for her constant support in my endeavors. Within about two days of this new found passion, what was once her home office became my home salon. The next morning she was shopping on amazon for nail polish racks for my nonexistent nail polish bottles. Seeing my progression, my mom invested her own money into getting me better quality supplies, my first nail desk, and chairs. She even came up with my business name and had a sign and personalized hand model diamond made(I never used either…yet lol). My father painted the room, we found some shelves and organizers, and it was only up from there. My mom posted EVERYTHING I did on every social media account of hers, even if it was just one finger nail. Never missing a post led me to my first client after just a month and a half of practice. March 2021, I started to build my clientele. Eventually as of April 8th, 2021, I started my instagram account. I started gaining followers and with that my clientele increased. My career quickly took off and developed in a way I never imagined and I am so thankful for every ounce of support. The wait is officially over. I am now proud to finally introduce “The Kave”!!
