I’m so honored that this show has been my last and favorite high school musical production . I’m so happy with the friends I have made throughout this adventure. I’m truly grateful for all of you. This community is something that i will never forget and i will cherish it forever. 💗

Améilie

My final show with R2P! I’m so incredibly grateful to have found such a great family that’s so supportive and as caring as this. This place means more to me than words can say and I wish I joined sooner so I could do more shows and make more memories. However, I am glad I joined even if it was late and I’m so grateful for everything I’ve experienced. Every friendship, every tech week and every rehearsal will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you to the cast and crew of Améilie for creating such a wonderful show and bringing this beautiful story to life. It’s such a great way to end my high school theater career ❤️

Goodbye, Amelie!

This show was so much fun and such a great experience for a senior show :) I really felt connected with this cast and I’m so glad I got to spend time with each and every one of you. Sadly I didn’t get many pictures but there’s a few :D

i’d wake up if you came around 🥹

i have been dreading making this post for so long. not just because i don’t fully want to come to terms that the show is over, but because i cannot believe that this was my last time performing with the seniors.

this show was such a blesssing. i am beyond grateful for everyone and all the memories made. from the music rehersals, to rehersal volleyball, to gas station ice cream, all the way to lansing middle school playground-every moment was so fun. when we first started rehersals, i didn’t think that i could get so close to a cast, yet here i am.

to my seniors: i love you all so much. performing these shows with you have been amazing and i truly do not know what i will do without you guys next year. thank you for an incredible show experience, for teaching me what real work is, and how it all pays off in the end. im going to miss you all more than you know, but i also know you will do amazing things and i can’t wait to watch you all succeed! don’t forget im only a phone call away!

i love you all so much. this show and all of you will always have a place in my heart ❤️

“this is how my world gets made.”

i truly can say this is my favorite show i have ever been a part of. not only because i have grown as a human through the message of the show, but i have watched others do the same. i love when shows change who we are for the better, and amelie has done that for me. getting to play amelie, was such a dream. i have never felt so very connected and in tune with myself when playing a character as i have playing amelie. amelie taught me not to be afraid to express myself, even when everything is constantly changing- a message i will carry with me forever.

saying that this is my very final performance with r2p feels unreal. the past 12 shows have been such a joy and a privilege, and i will truly miss this company more than words can say. i feel so lucky to have had this show as my final experience, and i couldn’t be more grateful for everything. i absolutely cherish each memory with this cast, and i hope we all continue to remember the messages of this beautiful show. goodbye amelie. ❤️

where do we go from here

this show taught me how lucky i am to have a community, and how important feeling connected is. i love you running to places, and i love everybody in it. amelie has such meaningful lessons, and one of those is how to say goodbye. the future and uncertainty is scary, but seniors i know you will go far and it’s been beautiful to watch you grow as performers and people. let’s always keep a little r2p in our heart
