Avalanche Education.

Here’s a great practical demonstration from @pbilous during a public ASC 2 ( Avalanche Skills Course Level 2 ) in the Cardrona region.

This was a reactive area of isolated windslab from the recent southerly storm that came through on the 8th of August.

Understanding how and when to do snowpack stability tests is just one of the elements you learn about on these courses.

A few legends from our motley crew. If you’ve skied with us before, you’ll spot some familiar faces. If you haven’t—just wait till you meet them. Getting to know our guides is half the fun!

Winter ’25 is in full swing, keep your eyes peeled for updates from our first few days out…
